![]() I myself recently had my MB1700 Series (80's vintage?) lock tumbler unattach itself from the lock rod after 20 plus years of faithful service in the locked position. Somewhere here I read about someone having problem opening a Mac box without a lock or key. Actually there were 3 of the 6" wide drawers from a top box on ebay not too long ago. Every now and then I see them show up on ebay as singles or pairs or even a whole drawer. Might contact Kennedy or Waterloo about those since I'm 99% sure they still make those style clips for their boxes.Īs for the handles. These should be the same design C-man, etc is still using today on friction slide boxes. The stops you are refering to are just the "clips" that keep the drawers from pulling all the way out right? They are a little bent piece of metal. I'm sure someone could point you in the right direction? Its a friction slide and I'm not sure who's selling them anymore these days. those are a pretty standard for that period of box. There is a long shaft that should fit into the back of the lock and turns the lock rod in the back up/down as you turn it.Īs for slides. should be able to pick one up at most hardware stores.
